ConnXion appoints new CFO stunt double

Business document delivery solutions provider ConnXion Limited (ASX: CXN) has appointed Iain Bartram to the dual roles of chief financial officer and company secretary. Prior to joining ConnXion, Bartram worked with UK-listed ASP technology solution company Virtue Broadcasting, where he was Australian MD and founder before being invited to relocate to the UK as interim CEO during a period of significant organisational change. Bartram's other claim to fame is as a trained movie and television drama stunt man. He's on a call-up register and got his qualifications by training with the man who's now Pierce Brosnan's stunt double.

SAP ANZ reports Q2 and half year revenue growth

EMC claims best quarter ever in ANZ

Storage market leader, EMC Corporation, reported strong results for Q2 2005, achieving double-digit, year-over-year revenue growth for the eighth consecutive quarter. The local office claimed that the company also had a record quarter in Australia and New Zealand.

Three new appointments at Indigo Pacific

Workflow solutions provider, Indigo Pacific, has announced three new additions to its New South Wales team. Indigo Pacific has appointed Mark Peterson as senior account manager in the NSW sales team and has expanded its professional services team to include Anthony Jereley and Evonne Chin focusing on the areas of J2EE and web content management. Petersen’s appointment as follows four years as a client relationship executive at Novell. His previous roles include management positions at OXIS, IBM and Telstra. Jereley was prviously the senior Java developer at Attain IT for two years and has over five years experience with Java including roles at Sysao Australia, Euro RSCG and Cortex eBusiness. Chin’s appointment follows six years in a similar role at Thomson Lawpoint.

Sabre Airlines Solutions appoints new Pacific sales manager

Airline software operations developer, Sabre Airlines Solutions, has appointed Axel Bensch as  account director for the Pacific region. Based in Melbourne, Bensch joins Sabre Airlines Solutions from Lochard Limited where he was responsible for providing performance solutions to airport clients in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, Bensch held senior roles at Lufthansa Systems, Rosenbluth International, Amadeus and Galileo International. Bensch takes over from Matt Mclelland, who has moved to Sabre Travel Network in New Zealand to assume the role as country manager, New Zealand.
