Panviva wins SAP implementation deal with Caterpillar Asia PDF  | Print |
Wednesday, 03 August 2005

Australian Software Firm Panviva has won a contract with Caterpillar Asia to implement an SAP-based Employee Performance Support System within all its manufacturing plants in the region.

This is the second time Caterpillar has chosen Panviva's Performance Support System having previously implemented it across its worldwide dealership network, including the Australian companies Williams Adams and Westrac, to help dealers use Caterpillar's business systems.

Ted Gannan, CEO of Panviva, said, "This sale builds on our strong relationship with Caterpillar.  We are pleased that Caterpillar has once again chosen Panviva 6 to play a key role in the support and training of its employees in the region.

"By providing context-sensitive information that is relevant to each individual's role within the organisation, Panviva 6 will significantly reduce the amount of training, technical support and supervision needed to ensure a successful implementation of the SAP system."  Gannan said.
