When surfing you can rotate the image on screen so you get a horizontal view of your websites. If you purchase 3rd party universal remote control software, you can use it as a universal remote – indeed any existing Pocket PC can do this, which is a handy feature to acquire if you're a Pocket PC user already.
With GPRS and Wi-Fi access, you can connect when you need to, or stay connected for long periods of time to your email, your data and even your office and/or home PC with remote PC control software. Search the web through Google or some other search engine whenever you need to know information right on our PDA2k then and there, not when you get back to the office.
Being able to be connected to the Internet, your calendar, all your important files and all of your contacts through email, messaging and voice on a portable device was once the realm of Star Trek, or the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. But it's here now, and it's affordable. Even GPRS pricing is starting to come down, especially as all the remaining networks start offering 3G in 2005, making Internet access affordable and useful. |
